This is an 8-week course for adults. You’ll work with other beginners and learn the fundamentals of Aikido that will prepare you to then move into any of the other regular open classes.

Special Friday to welcome new students - class may end a little early and will be followed by dinner together.
Focus on weapons: bokken, jo, and tanto. If you don’t have your own training weapons feel free to ask which dojo weapons may be borrowed. Class is open to all interested students. However, those who haven’t completed the Introductory Course should check with the instructor before showing up.

All are welcome. New students will start with the basic techniques of the entry-level (6th kyu) and will advance as far as their efforts take them.
Sunday classes are for test preparation and for students who want to work on specific techniques. It is an opportunity to ask questions and request to work on something specific.
